CAMP ACTIVITY This is a 4-day, 3-night camp at Saint John's University in Collegeville, MN. Campers participate in Carl Walz tournament competition. In addition to outdoor courts, campers have access to indoor court facilities. Campers also have access to recreational facilities. INSTRUCTIONAL EMPHASIS Stroke Production Movement Mental Toughness Point Construction Strategy: Singles and Doubles ABOUT THE LOCATION Saint John's University is located in a remarkable setting of 3,300 acres of woods and 7 lakes--just minutes from St. Cloud and an hour north of the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area. DAYS TWO & THREE 7:00 am Rise and Shine 7:30 am Breakfast 8:30 am Tennis tips/Stretching/Warm-up 9:00 am On court instruction and drill 11:30 am Lunch and rest 1:30 pm Instruction, drill, strategy, ball machine practice, videotapes & match play. 5:00 pm Dinner 6:30 pm Tennis activities, speakers and conditioning 8:30 pm Informal activities-movies, social time 10:30 pm LIGHTS OUT!
